Find Your Flavor with the legends and emerging celebrities of Zinfandel on January 26-28, 2023. ZinEX is an annual wine and food extravaganza in San Francisco attracting wine lovers from around the world and is one of the only festivals dedicated to a single grape variety. Experience the classic character of Zinfandel at four extraordinary events featuring a diverse selection of wines and styles. The weekend includes an Opening Night Dining event, Flights tasting seminar, Winemakers Auction & Dinner, and the Grand Tasting. ZinEX 2023 features access to winemakers and principals at three impressive venues, showcasing the talents of winemakers, chefs, and artisanal food purveyors.

Acclaimed Sommeliers and Winemakers are paired to present their highly allocated wines at ZAP’s preeminent seated seminar-style tasting, moderated by none other than the “Godfather of Zin,” Joel Peterson! During this guided exploration on Friday, January 27, 2023, you’ll delve into the history and science behind the flavors of Zinfandel and food that goes with Zin flavors. GRAND TASTING on Saturday, January 28

Principals of the Zinfandel world will come together at ZAP’s (Zinfandel Advocates & Producers’) one and only Grand Tasting on Saturday, January 28, 2023. It’s the most comprehensive showing of Zinfandels and blends, featuring over 70 wineries from throughout the California wine regions. This all-day expedition will showcase rock-star personalities pouring reserve bottles, limited production wines and barrel samples at their tables during the first portion of the day. Tasting in the afternoon highlights hundreds of different Zinfandel’s from the varied growing regions, offering the chance to explore the many dimensions of Zinfandel. The food scene will combine culinary delights with incomparable flavor from talented winery chefs and select restaurants.
