Description: Our group meets monthly to discuss current vineyard pests and their management. The goal is to create a strong local network for communicating the best IPM strategies and for support in solving viticultural anomalies. In April, Suterra passed out free vine mealybug traps at our outreach meeting. This month, we’ll get our microscopes out and welcome Suterra back to teach us how to identify the male vine mealybugs in traps, offer tips for effective pheromone mating disruption, and share mealybug management information.
