Description: The LODI RULES Community – growers, vintners, supporters, & leaders – gathers annually to discuss the previous certification year and to highlight important opportunities ahead.
This year we are happy to host two incredible guest speakers with strong ties to LODI RULES: Kent Reeves and Steve Matthiasson. Kent Reeves, whom you may know from our Sustainable Vision Workshops, is joining us to discuss regenerative agriculture, soil health, and what he’s learned from being part of the successful Rancher-to-Rancher program. Steve Matthiasson, one of the original authors of the Lodi Winegrower’s Workbook, will share sustainability success stories from the vineyard to the marketplace.
We’ll also give away copies of the Xerces Society book Farming with Native Beneficial Insects and Dr. Stephanie Bolton will talk about how to use beneficial insects as a tool to engage agritourists and the next generation.
Interested in joining LODI RULES? This is a great event to help you decide before applications are due to Protected Harvest on February 14th, 2020.
RSVP by Jan. 15th: Contact the Lodi Winegrape Commission by phone 209.367.4727 or email lwwc@lodiwine.com.
